6.59 AM, and this Stardust Hunter is out in the city. This year’s project is to try to improve my collection methodology in order to find micrometeorites in common road dust.
Here the noise-to-signal ratio is is poorer than in the roof dust. But road dust is more easily accessible. If we manage to improve collection results for urban road dust, stardust hunting will be possible for more people.
Stay tuned on Facebook (of course), but also please check out Instagram and Twitter for more updates.
Sincerely, your intrepid stardust hunter,
Jon Larsen
